The Rally Cat is an energized, multidisciplinary performing arts organization dedicated to supporting artists and communities with opera, theatre, and musical theatre.

The Rally Cat centers artists, especially women and people of color, in order to facilitate the creation of high-quality digital and live performances of new and classic work and offer creative educational opportunities for students of all ages.

Since our founding in 2017, 50% of our publicly-presented projects have been written by writers of color, 60% have been written by women, and 100% have been artist-led.

 

The Rally Cat honors the truth that collaboration builds community and great stories change the world. We prioritize affordable programming, clear and respectful boundaries, and the simple rule that if tickets are sold, the artists are paid.
